The Clan Arrives in Guernsey

The weather definitely wasn't showing it's better side when both Sues, Theresa and Zach came to visit our little island.   As always, we made the most of it, and thankfully the torrential down poor didn't start until Sunday morning.  We kept busy from the moment they arrived until the moment they left...completely exhausted :)

 

It started Friday night with happy hour and sunset on Cobo beach, followed by dinner at the Rockmount

 

Saturday we headed out to the Southern cliffs and made the treck from Jerbourg Point to Petit Bot

That evening we took them to our favorite French spot- Petit Bistro...

 

 ...followed by a stop at Christie's for some live music and the abuse of a hen party!

 

Sunday, with a failed attempt to watch the sailing race, we took the morning easy, had lunch on the Northern part of the island at Houmet Tavern and then Josh whipped up an incredible fish dinner (after a lesson from the best... youtube and Tom Sieger).

 

And obviously, we don't mess around with dessert in our household!

 

It was a wonderful weekend with friends and family, and it is always sad to see them go!  Thanks so much for visiting us!  XOXO
