Edinburgh

It was a disappointing start to the trip- Theresa and the two Sue's lost a day in the city due to travel delays and Josh and his brother had to cancel their round of golf in the Scottish countryside for one too many reasons.  But that definitely didn't stop us from making the most of our short trip.

 Northbridge

Scott Monument- Josh and his brother kicked the bagpipes to the curb for the photo op.

 National Gallery of Scotland

 West Princes Street Gardens

Street market with the castle in the background

Time to hit the pubs

The Royal Bank of Scotland

Fitting...ha.

With one weary traveller asleep and the other three yet to arrive, Josh and I got to enjoy a date night at the Cambridge.

Day 2...time to play catch up with the rest of the crew.  Starting with a walk up the Royal Mile to the Castle.

View of Edinburgh from the Castle

Josh is on the other side...not too sure about this!?!

Lunch at the Whiski Room with the Olympic Parade going on right outside the window.

Typical UK weather...sunny in the morning, rain in the afternoon.

"Boozy Snoozy Sunday" at La Monde

Monday lunch at Ecco Vino before catching our flight
