We were very lucky to have our next set of parents visit us for two weeks and travel throughout the UK and Italy and then join us back at home in Guernsey.
First stop was a day at the British Open and thankfully it was the only day of sun during their time in the UK. I then joined them for the weekend in London.
The amazing Indian restaurant we stumbled upon the first night for dinner
Matinee showing of The Phantom of the Opera
Dinner at our favorite Mexican spot- Wahaca in Covent Gardens. Tequila shots for all.
Sunday service at St. Paul's. We ducked out of the 2.5 hour service after the offering of 'peace.'
even worse...we ducked out to go shopping at Selfridges famous shoe gallery
We left the Parks in the UK and headed back to work for a few days. Then Josh met them in Rome. He'll add those pics at some point. Then I met all 3 of them in Florence. Not many people can say they have been to Florence twice in one month!
The grounds overlooking the city
Piazza Pitti for happy hour
Academia- The real David
Tuscany for a vineyard tour
And the tasting...two reds and a white wine and olive oil
The courtyard of the castle
Back in Florence- Riolto Bridge
I LOVE Florence!
Our last night in Florence and some amazing live music...
...then it was off to Venice
Pub crawl through Venice. Started with red wine...
and ended with an aperitif of grappa
Hugging St. Marks at midnight
Back to Guernsey
Now that is what I call a chicken skewer!
All dressed up to celebrate Josh passing the CFA
Southern Cliff walk
A day in Sark
What an amazing two weeks! We miss you and love you and thanks for visiting.
