Baby Moon

We decided to go back to our favorite country, Italy, for our last major European trip and Baby moon. We spent 5 days in Sorrento and Positano and even though the town's were rather quiet, we found a few cute cafes, restaurants and bars and frequented them often during our stay. The trip was filled with much needed R&R and despite the cooler temperatures, the sun definitely made an appearance.

Exploring Sorrento

Cafe, wine and an UNO tournament

A wonderful dinner at L'Abate

Our B&B might as well have been a museum.  This is where we had breakfast every morning.

A sunny morning run down to Marina Grande

Our favorite cafe, home to the best hot chocolate and great people watching.

Highly recommended by the locals, a wonderful dinner at trendy Refood.

More exploring...

The first of a few meals at Ristorante Pizzeria- where we had lunch with my parents last time we were in Sorrento.

A very interesting street festival.

 A very large mozzarella ball.

The bus ride to Positano.

Lunch at Bucca di Bacco, where we met some fellow Americans.

Not a bad view and set up for a bus stop.

We couldn't leave Italy without a stop at one of the best gelato places on the Amalfi Coast.

And, a quick bump pic from our hotel.  27 weeks during this trip and feeling very round.  I am sure that all the Italian pastas, pizzas and gelato didn't help the cause!

Baby Shower

With the help of Josh completely throwing me off, my girlfriends threw a surprise baby shower for me with an Afternoon Tea theme...perfectly British.  And with the help of my big sis, we'll have some presents from our registry waiting back in Dallas for us upon return. It truly was a wonderful surprise and a great afternoon.

Now that I can safely enjoy my one glass of champagne, I got to CHEERS with the rest of the girls. I ate myself into a coma, we played games and Stan got his first teddy bear.

A Perfect Sunset

With one month left in Guernsey, there was a strong possibility that this could have been the last clear night to catch a sunset.  So Josh and I made our way over to Cobo and Vazon to freeze our rear ends off for a few pics then duck inside for a coffee.  And at 24 weeks pregnant, the bump was showing just enough.  Props to the photographer on the outcome!
