Penny took me on another Sunday afternoon outing. She has taken it upon herself to be my private tour guide and has created a list of everything I must do and see in Guernsey before I leave...and we are rapidly crossing things off of this list. Today we visited Beaucette Marina (one of my favorites) and Le Dehus Dolmen, a small set of underground caves that you wouldn't know existed if you drove by.

Horse Racing Time
I was invited to join a table of women for a charity event based around the Grand National horse races. Held at St Pierre Park, 400+ women dressed to the nines, wined and dined and placed bets all afternoon long. Our horse, Chicago Grey, didn't win us any money...but at least what we lost went to a good cause!

Chamonix
A group of 12 PwC and non PwC'ers, skiers and non skiers, hit the slopes of Chamonix over our extended Easter holiday. We mastered a few different mountains, enjoyed plenty of apres ski, ate traditional mountain cuisine and played never ending games of uno, checkers, pool and foosball...always with the Masters in the background.
The first day, the weather wasn't too inviting to hit the slopes, so Josh and I decided to head into town and explore a bit.
Then it was back to the chalet to hit the hot tub,
and play some uno.
Mexican night- getting groceries back to the chalet for 12 proved to be a challenge, so we borrowed the shopping cart.
Perfect ski conditions at La Flegere
Testing out the slopes of Brevent
Italian dinner at Casa Velerio
Another day back on the slopes
A few good photographic moments
Apres ski in town on our final night
The newest addition to the Parks family...thanks for the stellar gag gift
and a wonderful ski holiday with great friends.
