Snow in Guernsey!

I woke up to snow at 6am and went right back to bed. The entire city shuts down with even the slightest amount of snow. They are equipped for rain, but not this.

Last Day in Guernsey

Started with a walk into town...

past the public pools

and to the southern cliffs.

A perfect day!

And the day ended with wine and appetizers at a favorite local spot.  Actually, the day ended with Thanksgiving #2 back at home.  Plenty of leftovers with a 15lb turkey!

Thanks for making the trip across the pond mom and dad.  We had so much fun with you in London and France, and are so glad you love our new home!   You set the standards high for future visitors.  We love you so much!

Welcome to Guernsey Mom & Dad!

After visiting 2 countries and a week of travel, we got to bring my parents over to Guernsey!

While we were at work, we put them to work!

We hosted a pizza night with my dad's famous pizza!

And we celebrated their 36th anniversary!

Thank you for being such strong and positive influences in our lives.  Because of you, Josh and I look forward to a lifelong relationship as family, mentors and best friends.  XO

Mont Saint- Michel

The cathedral makes up the entire medieval city.  Tourist are dependent on low tides to be able to get on the island.

While the boys drank a Calvados nightcap (apple brandy, the drink of the region), my mom and I took advantage of the launch of Beajolais Nouveau.
